A good hydration vest should bit snug, like a tight-fitting shirt, in order to prevent bouncing or chafing. These vest come in various storage capacities, the most common being  2L, 5L, 8L and 12L. WATER FILTRATION

Water filtration systems can help you be fast and light through the hills. They allow you to carry less equipment because you can refill without the worry of spending the next few days in the bathroom. Many companies such as Salomon and Katadyn have created filters for their soft flasks that can also fit into hydration vests or belts.
