Salomon takes a natural approach to designing the Thundercross, ensuring it serves as your go-to trail running shoe while maintaining excellent grip and cushioning. The midsole incorporates Energy Foam, delivering a highly responsive yet highly cushioned underfoot experience. To facilitate efficient heel-to-toe transitions, the shoe boasts a R Camber Rocker that rolls the runner quickly through their stride. This versatile midsole design balances nimbleness on technical trails while still smoothing out landings for a plush ride. With updated High Traction Contigrip Rubber in the outsole and 5mm lugs, the Thundercross offers exceptional traction on soft and hard trails. Meanwhile, the breathable engineered mesh upper, with SENSIFIT overlays, ensures a locked-in fit while the roomier forefoot design helps maintain comfort over longer trail runs.
